What will the apprentice be doing?

The beauty of this role is that no two days are ever the same. With the support of your store manager and our in-house training team we will give you all the tools you need to support your development throughout the programme.

When in store your role will include:

  • Bringing our Purpose and Values to life
  • Learning how to select the right products for our customer's needs
  • Providing them with a tailored experience

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • During your apprenticeship you will receive regular training sessions while working in store. These are monthly and in some cases two weekly
  • You’ll be supported every step of the way by dedicated training experts who are employed by Vision Express
  • Through a structured learning pathway you will achieve a Level 2 Optical Assistant qualification, equivalent to 5 A*-C 9/4 GCSEs (including GCSE English and maths if you don’t already have these or equivalent)
