What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Be responsible for completion of tasks to ensure the payroll administration provision is accurate, compliant with statutory requirements and completed in a timely manner. 
  • Take incoming calls and provide excellent customer service, assist callers internally and externally, troubleshoot any difficulties service users experience where possible and escalate as necessary.
  • Support the continuous improvement of processes and service provision within the team.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will be working towards a level 3 Payroll Administrator qualification. Thorough on-the-job training, work shadowing as well as training that covers business processes and organisational policies.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

19 month full-time fixed term contract. We also offer a pay review to compliment months 7-12 and again at the start of year 2. Following completion and achievement of your apprenticeship programme you will be able to apply for any available permanent roles within MHA.
