What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 - Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator - Your apprenticeship will last for 13 months.

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. Apprentices must successfully evidence a First Aid qualification approved by EYFS.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Things to consider

You will need to attend online training with your Assessor for 10 days out of your 13-month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor. Level 3 - Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator - Your apprenticeship will last for 13 months. About the employer

Canterbury Tender Care Day Nursery is our newest state of the art nursery and is located on Canterbury Road, next to Broad Green Library. The nursery caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and can cater for 74 children at any one time. The nursery is close to Thornton Heath, Norbury and Purley Way – accessible via many bus routes. We have 3 rooms specifically designed with your child in mind; Big Panda’s Room for our 3-5 year olds, Little Lamb’s for our 2-3 year olds and Baby Dolphin’s for our 0-2 year olds – each room is themed accordingly and has a range of resources to specifically aid the development of the children within that room. This nursery boasts impressive facilities including two outdoor spaces, a sensory room, an ICT room and two indoor physical jungle gym structures. The management team at Canterbury is highly experienced in childcare, particularly within the Croydon borough and therefore has in depth knowledge of its supporting teams for parents, children, additional needs and disabilities and safeguarding which in turn ensures that every child receives the best possible support through their learning journey.
