What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking stock levels regularly
  • Updating stock information on the computer system
  • Comparing items received against items ordered
  • Implementing or improving processes and procedures
  • Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
  • Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information
  • Performing random checks and audits

Other duties will include:

  • Maintaining good communication with current suppliers
  • Understanding and comply with the Health & Safety policy of the business at all times
  • Presenting the business in a professional manner at all time
  • To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, as may be determined by the management from time to time
  • The carry out duties in compliance with the Equal Opportunities policy
  • To respect the confidentiality of information received
  • To be aware of the high profile of Company and to uphold it's standards at all times
  • To be aware of all emergency and fire evacuation procedures
  • To be aware of sections 7 & 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • To understand that, as part of training you will be required to move to other parts of the Company.
