What will the apprentice be doing?

Your primary role would be to provide administration support to the Account Management team to ensure we deliver a robust and exclusive service to all customers.
You will be supporting the team to build and maintain strong customer relationships, producing accurate and competitive quotations, processing orders and handling customer enquiries in line with customer’s requirements and SLA’s.

You will be the first point of contact for a lot of our customer stakeholders and drivers so high levels of customer service are a must – you will be able to promote the company’s products and services with confidence and commitment whilst working within a close knit team to achieve business targets.

Main Job Function

  • Provide support to the Account Management team to ensure we deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers
  • Maintain, develop and grow customer accounts
  • Produce accurate, competitive quotations within an agreed timeframe
  • Process new vehicle orders in line with the customer’s requirements
  • Provide first line driver and customer support
  • Communicate effectively with all departments in the pursuit of providing the highest standards of account management

Key Tasks and Performance Objectives

  • Providing the Account Management team with robust operational backup and support
  • Preparing vehicle quotations in line with the customer requirements
  • Processing of all new vehicle orders to suit the customer’s requirement
  • Understanding and working in line with customer SLA’s
  • Maintaining and updating customer records
  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Completing all administration tasks in a timely, accurate manner

On the job training is provided and you will be paired up with an experienced team member. 20% of your working hours will be spent studying a level three Business Administration Standard.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Level 3.

This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.
