This role will develop into a multi-skilled Administrator which is responsible for providing services within the Loram UK Business Services Team. The core focus is to provide efficient technical administrative support using knowledge and experience of IFS and/or ERP systems gained during the apprenticeship.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Business Services, the role will provide general administrative support to the business as well as specific administrative support to specific operational functions.

 

·         Planning and booking travel arrangements

·         Booking of hotel accommodation

·         Creating work orders, tracking maintenance tasks, generating invoices from worksheets.

·         Collate and input technical company data onto databases

·         Administration of disposals documentation

·         Participate in office meetings and take meeting minutes

·         Keep well-organised files and records of business activity

·         Provide general administration support across the Company including:

o    Administration/logging/electronic filing of contract variations

o    Occasional holiday cover for the administration team

o    Occasional reception cover for the Derby office

o    General administration support, during busy times

Attendance at and assistance with corporate events, as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administration Level 3 - This qualification is entirely work based

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once completed 2-year programme, employee will be an Administrator. The natural progression would be Technical then Senior Administrator or Project Administrator, but we also have career pathways enabling people to progress into other support functions such as HR or IT
