What will the apprentice be doing?

As a customer service practitioner, you will play a leading role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience. You will work with an energetic and friendly team and support across various departments. Interested? Apply now!

Your role will include:

  • Managing customer enquiries – Assisting with the customer care team and liaising with and advising customers both via email and on the phone, checking, updating and amending orders, resolving order and account issues.
  • Processing customer orders over the phone.
  • Customer order processing – receiving, reviewing, printing, and liaising with dispatch and packing teams to ensure timely & efficient delivery.
  • Dealing with complaints professionally, promptly and empathetically.
  • Support the sales team, including processing corporate & wholesale orders.
  • Supporting the other teams within the business during busy periods.

Working hours will be:

  • Rota across Monday to Saturday with days off as agreed (with some flexibility to include Sundays at peak times of pre-Christmas & pre-Easter).
  • Office hours 8am–5pm Mon-Fri & 9am-4pm Sat

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner.

Functional Skills can be completed if required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion of a successful apprenticeship we would expect to offer a suitable permanent contract.
