    £8,754.20 to £17,290.00

    Pay will be dependent on age. Additionally, you will have access to an Employee Health Program, bonus scheme, discount scheme and good holiday/leave entitlement.

What will the apprentice be doing?

No day is average however general duties will involve:

  • Responding to incoming phone and email customer enquiries for changes to their insurance details 
  • Providing quotes for new policies 
  • Processing payments and paperwork 
  • Continuous professional development 
  • Utilising customer relationship management system to support effective customer outcomes and business growth 
  • Report writing 
  • Identifying new prospects and building relationships 

Training will form an important part of the initial months in order to become compliant in a regulated industry. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Customer Service level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • There is the possibility of completing Functional Skills if you have not already achieved the required maths & English qualifications

You will attend college every 6 weeks spending time with your tutor and other apprentices, you will also be regularly visited in your workplace by your college assessor mentor. They will review completed work, observe in the workplace and set new targets to help you build a portfolio of evidence. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • There is good potential to progress into more senior positions over time and support to join the Chartered Institute of Insurance
