What will the apprentice be doing?

Eventually we would like the successful candidate to learn and master the following skills, that are involved in our day to day operations.

  • Preparing cars for Sale and PDI before dispatch
  • Servicing cars as part of the above
  • Refurbishing parts to be used on car builds
  • Keeping the workshop tidy
  • Learning all aspects of fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Learning how to weld as part of the restoration process
  • Use of power tools as part of the above process
  • Learning how to trim / recondition interiors

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (light vehicle) standard and a Certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A apprentice position initially leading to full time employment.
