What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will gain an excellent grounding in working within an office setting, helping to keep the running of a business as smooth as possible and ensuring that the business operations run as efficiently as possible. You will gain key and easily transferable skills that will, in time, help you to progress into management responsibilities.
This opportunity will be working in a team involved in Credit Management and Professional Debt Recovery services.

The role will be varied, and day to day duties will include:

  • Sending Target Marketing Letters to potentional new clients.
  • Following up with phone calls to make appointments.
  • Updating the business's client database.
  • Assisting with the sending of Mail Marketing adverts.
  • Helping with Blogs for the website and content for other social media platforms such as linked in and Facebook and Twitter.
  • Sending thank you letters to debtors who have paid.
  • Sourcing and sending gifts to new clients.
  • Filing.
  • Taking incoming calls.
  • Updating graphs on internal test and measure systems in place.
  • Raising and sending invoices.
  • Sending Statements.
  • Processing Supplier invoices
  • Setting up Customers and Suppliers on Xero system.
  • General administrative duties.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The apprentice will gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
  • Training will be delivered virtually with regular online sessions, once every 2-3 weeks and assignments set.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, there will be opportunity for full time employment, and the chance to progress onto higher level qualifictaions.
