What will the apprentice be doing?

Tasks will include printing, photocopying, filing, answering the phone and greeting customers. This may sound like mundane tasks, however, without these foundations being completed correctly it can lead to the failure of any business. Once the basics are mastered. we will then progress into the purchasing side of the business, which involves, pricing, ordering material and chasing up incoming deliveries, labelling stock, checking incoming deliveries and preparying outgoing deliveries. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard - Customer Service Practitioner:

• Customer Service Practioner Level 2 Standard - Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service Practitioners (Business Admin Pathway)

The successful candidate will also need to complete a diagnostic assessment, which will help us plan the appropriate support required to meet your individual needs.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We are looking for somebody to join us as part of a small family company, the role we are offering is one we wish to develop with the aim of a full-time position at the end of the training for the right person.
