    Salary will be £16,000 to £18,000 depending on experience in a customer facing role in first year and then National Minimum Wage after that until completion of training.

  • Working week

    Monday-Friday working hours between 8am-6pm An hour lunchbreak for any shift more than 6 hours. Maybe required to work occasional weekends. Attend college 1 day per week for training, this will be at our Filton Campus

What will the apprentice be doing?

Main duties of the role include:

  • Responding to online and inbound telephone leads, using a consultative approach to guide prospects to an appointment.
  • Information gathering on a customer’s requirements and processing into a sales tracking platform.
  • Delivering maximum customer service and uphold our commitment to delivering a great customer experience during their sales journey.
  • Driving appointments for our sales teams from inbound enquiries.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Functional Skills in maths and English if required
As the successful apprentice you will undertake an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service with an embedded administration pathway.
The Apprenticeship will be delivered by a South Gloucestershire & Stroud College Assessor. You will be required to attend Filton Campus to complete any underpinning knowledge support, however the majority of your assessments towards your qualifications will be undertaken within the workplace environment.

You will be assigned a supervisor/mentor within the workplace, who will support you to develop your workplace skills, knowledge and experience throughout the duration of your apprenticeship programme.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The Customer service role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as administration, management or senior support roles.
