What will the apprentice be doing?

Daily tasks may include:

  • Researching networking events.
  • Booking the potential leads into our marketing audit software. Generating marketing plans for clients.
  • Working through your task list set by the manager and yourself.
  • Actively using social media platforms, Google, LinkedIn and CRM systems to plan who you and the team are be speaking to next.
  • Generate a digital audit for the potential client, you will be taught to research the client's needs and create a plan for the meeting.
  • Create content for demonstration websites & content for social media. You will shadow meetings with the Line manager.
  • Attend online networking events and in-person meetings.
  • Administrative tasks Collating data (spreadsheets) Creating scripts and marketing strategy plans.
  • Communication through internal systems.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Mandatory organisational training in H&S, safeguarding and data protection.

You will attend 1 day a week at SDC to study your apprenticeship. Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will receive a level 3 Digital Marketer Diploma.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A full-time permanent role as a digital marketer within the company.
