What will the apprentice be doing?

Your duties will include:

  • Using the HR system to update records and produce reports.
  • Supporting the team to complete annual events such as appraisals, pay review and promotions.
  • Making changes to employee contracts.
  • Processing new joiners and leavers.
  • Dealing with all references.
  • Maintaining employee files.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our employees and external contacts such as agencies. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be completing your HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship with City Skills which includes the level 3 CIPID associate diploma.

Training will be delivered remotely consisting of a live group session every Friday morning for 90 minutes.  You will be assigned a development coach with whom you can have 1-2-1 sessions.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We cannot guarantee that there will be a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship, however we hope to be able to offer our apprentices opportunities to further develop their skills and progress their career within the HR team.
