What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To assist the technicians in finding the correct parts for the refuse and recycling trucks using dealer sites and contacts as the suppliers.
  • Order the parts in and process all of the associated administration.
  • Receive the parts in, booking them to the correct job, updating the correct systems.
  • Putting stock away, checking stock levels and finding out where orders are that haven't arrived.  

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Customer Service apprentice will work towards a L2 Customer Service qualification via Weymouth College and will at the same time have formal training delivered by Fleet Factors.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Prospect of progression to a higher level apprenticeship qualification and to progress within the business. Prospect of a permanent position for the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship and for onward progression with financial services qualifications.
