What will the apprentice be doing?
At CELT your main role will be to provide Customer Service and day to day operational support to the Estates and Information Services teams. You will be responsible for handling front line queries received from various sources, such as telephone, email, social media and self-service and to be successful you should have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and a passion for customer care. You should have confidence interacting with customers, remaining calm and courteous whilst working to resolve requests. The post holder will work closely with colleagues within both teams as well as other key stakeholders and will use systems to record requests, incidents and service requests.
Principal Responsibilities:
- To act as the first point of contact for Estates and Information Service teams enquiries.
- Update and maintain electronic the Trust’s Management Information Systems, ensuring data is collected and recorded timely and in line with data regulations and contractual obligations.
- To be responsible for the collation of relevant data and information from schools.
- To support welcoming visitors, ensuring signing-in procedures are followed, and to receive and prioritise incoming telephone calls and deal with them appropriately, taking messages as required.
To support with Head Office room bookings, organise venues, hospitality and Lettings processes. - To support with sorting, distributing and administering incoming and outgoing mail within relevant timescales and deadlines.
To assist with the organisation and support of Trust events.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will attend Cornwall College St Austell on a weekly basis (during term times)
- At the end of the apprenticeship you will have Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship you could progress to the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business and Administration
- On successful completion of the apprenticeship you could potentially progress within the company
