What will the apprentice be doing?
- Undertake defined tasks and activities to implement Compensation & Benefits (C&B) programmes and policies.
- Provide day-to-day administrative advice and support by telephone and email, to managers, employees and HR team.
- Support, develop and maintain relationships with the HR team, managers and employees throughout the UK business.
- Gather and enter relevant data to provide effective administrative support.
- Analysing data and preparing in a format that is presentable to communicate out to the business which may require some explanation or interpretation.
- Assisting with the management of employee data for reporting and data cleanse activities as required.
- Assisting with the collation of information using HR systems and processes to enable accurate reporting.
- Administration of monthly employee recognition programmes.
- Supporting the Company Health & Wellbeing programme.
- Support with C&B projects as required.
- Supporting the HR Team by assisting where appropriate.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.
- On the job training delivered by the employer.
- Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out:
- Regular training.
- Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop.
- Identify, track and support 20% off the job training activities.
- Quarterly formal progress review meetings; identifying learning achievements and next steps.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
For the right candidate, based on your development and performance during the apprenticeship, the aim is that Apprentices move into a permanent position within the business towards the end of their Fixed Term Contract – subject to a suitable vacancy being available at that time and in line with the selection process for the role.
