What will the apprentice be doing?
ZEISS are offering a unique opportunity for an apprentice looking to start their career in a commercial environment. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to train and develop across three teams within our Customer Interaction Centre, co-ordinating positive customer outcomes within a fast-paced, B2B environment while gaining invaluable experience in end-to-end administrative processes.
Roles within the Customer Interaction Centre will include offering telephone support for our customers, handling internal and external email correspondence as well as managing requests and data via our databases.
The programme is incredibly varied and offers full exposure to the business, requiring you to work collaboratively with all colleagues whilst ensuring that we offer a premium service to all our customers.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice would be assigned an assessor through the College, who would typically come out to visit in the workplace to assess workplace competence. Day release for workshop attendance/ online is once a month at the Cambridge campus.
• Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service via Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The candidate will achieve a Level 2 Customer Service and a permanent position may become available.
