What will the apprentice be doing?

Put your foot on the pedal and accelerate your career with this fantastic opportunity at this family run business in Sittingbourne. 

Main duties for the role will include: -

  • Answering telephones and greeting customers face to face that visit.
  • General Office administrative duties including data entry.
  • Traffic office cover.
  • Website maintenance and social media updates.
  • Direct marketing and mail shots.
  • Proof reading flyers and documents.
  • Taking new bookings and managing existing bookings.
  • Dealing with coach travel or day booking quotes via our bespoke system.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Standard.
  • On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard. 
  • Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Interview - We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date. Reality Check - You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid. Travel Information - 27-minute walk from Sittingbourne train station. 9-minute walk from Broom Road bus stop (route 349).
