What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be responsible for;

  • All compliance and any letting document, ensuring properties are
    compliant (EPC, gas cert, EICR, PAT test, legionella etc).
  • Arranging inventories /check in and check outs.
  • Ensuring appliance manuals available.
  • Setting up utility accounts and council tax, following up to ensure set up after certain time, courtesy call.
  • Utilities and council tax also entail receiving and dealing with estimated bills/void period bills, ensuring correct person responsible and correct readings.
  • Sending tenant and Landlord inventories, dealing any comment in inventory.
  • Assisting with refurbishment of property/ project manage/arrange contractor appointments.
  • Rent chasing.
  • Dealing with notices and possession.
  • Dealing with maintenance and repairs.
  • General office duties.
  • This role may change and may entail visiting properties.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The candidate will follow a Level 2 apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West.

If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 1 Functional Skills in the relevant subjects.
