What will the apprentice be doing?

Based on a rotation across various departments, your day-to-day duties may vary depending on the department you are working in during each rotation. 

General administration, including answering calls, responding to emails, and dealing with customer queries.

Liaise as necessary with departments within North America, UK and Europe.

Take bookings from shippers and freight Forwarders for all ACL Outbound services and order transport when required.

As well as a range of financial based tasks.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards level 2 Customer Service Practitioner as part of the Customer Service apprenticeship with the full support of The Learning Foundry.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Following a successful rotational first year, you will get the chance to be based in one particular department working towards Business Administration level 3.  

We aim to offer a permanent role to all Apprentices once the 2-year programme has been completed, allowing you to apply the skills you have learnt in a familiar environment, allowing you to further develop and utilise the skills you have learnt to your full potential.
