What will the apprentice be doing?

A typical day will see the apprentice based at the front desk welcoming students as they arrive for class. They will take phone call messages, set up hospitality trays (tea, coffee, biscuits) for Directors and visitors. They will process student information packs and add them into the database, prepare lanyards and welcome packs for new arrivals, leavers certificates for leavers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification as part of this apprenticeship.

Training will be provided by The Learning Foundry with one to one visits  at the workplace by your dedicated assessor.  These visits may also take place online via MS Teams.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Typical progression routes for this post are:

Admissions Officer - processing bookings, liaising with direct booking and booking agencies

Accommodation and Welfare Officer – recruiting new host families, student residence partners. Inspecting accommodation and placing students.

Sales Officer- dealing with sales queries, quotes and special offers
