    Wage based on £10.50 per hour/ per 38 week year (nursery term time) Staff receive a yearly birthday bonus and anniversary bonus as well as an additional holiday day per year after their first anniversary (up to a max of 8 days for full time staff).

  • Working week

    Monday to Friday Mixture of shifts in line with rota, 07:15 - 17:00 and 09:00 - 18:45

    Total hours per week: 43.75

    (the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Typically responsible for leading and supporting other practitioners
  • To work as part of the school team to provide a safe, high quality early years environment for young children.
  • To work under the direct guidance of teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
  • Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
