The apprentice will be dealing with new and existing clients via telephone and email, they will also be dealing with a wide variety of insurance companies.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily administration duties as required
  • Chasing claims
  • Finding the best quotes to suit our client’s needs which includes an online process or calling our insurers directly and giving them as much accurate information as they can regarding our clients horse/trailer/livery yard/stud farm
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Keeping in touch with our sponsored riders and thinking of new ideas to help promote our company
  • Weekly lead generation

Things to consider

From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
