    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Working at Mobifon, you will be supporting the business development as well as general support in the office. 

You will support with:

  • Order processing – dealing with orders coming in
  • Preparing outgoing orders with attached paperwork
  • Data entry using Excel
  • Dealing with internal and external telephone callers
  • Basic telephone sim swaps – full training will be provided to complete this
  • Stock control – ensure all items are itemised
  • Adhoc general office duties including: filing,photocopying
  • Meeting and greeting new clients in reception

Qualifications required

  • Ideally a minimum 4 GCSE’s C and above,including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship.
