The primary role of the Junior Customer Representative is to provide efficient, effective, proactive assistance and solutions to our clients. Dealing with the majority of incoming communications via email they will be a first point of contact for our customers and as such ambassadors of our brand. They will also support the team with administrative tasks. Secondary to this there will also be times when they will be called upon to answer phone calls, respond to sales enquiries, complete reports and perform additional marketing related functions.

Qualifications required

5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C or above.

Future prospects

Formal qualification in the recruitment sector with a Certificate or Diploma in recruitment practice, subject to length of employment.

Things to consider

From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
