    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

We provide a one stop shop for all types of powered garden machinery, including Lithium Ion powered tools. We have a modern workshop that can handle all repairs and design prototype work for our full range of machines. We also offer the oportunity to train with other major manufactures brands, Husqvarna, Stihl, Honda.
 
The successful candidate will be involved in a range of tasks focused around the maintenance and repair of garden machinery.
 
Day to Day duties to include:
  • Health & Safety
  • Engineering Data and Information
  • Interpretating Engineering Drawings
  • Maintaining Mowers, Chippers, Rotavators, Cultivators, Garden Tools, Log Splitters + Full Assembly
  • Carry out our PDI on Customer Collected Machines
  • Customer Service
  • Answering General Sales Enquiries + carry out on line sales
  • Workshop cleaning

Qualifications required

Ideally 5 GCSE A*-C or equivalent, but is not essential as full training will be provided. All applicants will need to take an aptitude test for Maths and English.
