Main purpose of the job:

To deliver a professional, quality service to enable the maintenance of MOD Family Accommodation.

 

 

Main Duties:

  • Deal with queries regarding appointments for completion of maintenance work via telephone / e-mail / face to face.
  • To prepare and schedule appointments onto the Housing Management system.
  • To liaise with other team members regarding day to day queries of the appointment system.
  • To liaise with Engineers regarding planned work.
  • Create purchase orders on BS internal management system.
  • Run reports via Housing Management system.
  • Scan documents and attach to jobs on the system.
  • To create job packs for project work.
  • To liaise with Project Supervisors to obtain updates on project work and then update relevant spreadsheets.
  • To support colleagues in order for them to maintain targets.
  • To support the contract Manager in administration tasks.

Qualifications required

The candidate will ideally have GCSEs grades A-C in subjects including Maths, English and IT.

The minimum requirement will be to have Maths, English and ITC at level 1.

Future prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be the opportunity for a full time role with the company.

Things to consider

The role will involve working in an open plan office and dealing with occupants, contractors and internal colleagues. The MOD site in Donnington is a secure base and will require ID to enter.
