Carry out all production tasks within the PC printer inkjet cartridge remanufacturing process ensuring quality and quantity standards are being met at all times.  Assist and support the team to achieve daily production targets whilst maintaining quality standards.  Record data to ensure full traceability of each process.

Key Tasks:

  • Handle inkjet cartridges with care to avoid damage
  • Follow Supervisor and Team Leader instruction for day to day tasks.
  • Follow management instructions as advised
  • Perform multi-task operations using bespoke engineering equipment in all production sections:
  • Flushing and Cleaning
  • Cartridge Cleaning
  • Cartridge Filling
  • Print testing
  • Communicate and engage well with others to work as an effective multi-cultural team
  • Ensure targets are met and standards are achieved for all tasks undertaken
  • Record data with regards to quality, yield and output using SAP and / or Excel spreadsheets
  • Ensure all operations and procedures conform to requirements
  • Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines and instructions are adhered to
  • Use time and attendance equipment accurately and carefully
  • Assist with monthly product stock taking
  • Assist R&D with testing and development as required
  • Other tasks as needed for this role from time to time.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

An understanding of workflow processes and meeting targets and deadlines.

Personal qualities

Good verbal & written English communication skills

Ability to work well and support the team to meet targets

Good eye/hand co-ordination skills and able to sit / stand for long periods

Ability to work unsupervised once work is set up

Good work practice methodology

Well organised and able to prioritise

Thorough and rigorous to ensure work is completed to time and quality standards

Qualifications required

A minimum of three GCSE's (or equivalent qualifications) at grade D (Grade 3 ) minimum and above including English and Maths.

Future prospects

Continued employment and progression to Team Leader and beyond when vacancies arise. Employees are notified of positions throughout the Company as they become available.

Working with Ink and plastic materials. Some tasks are repetitive Long periods of standing and/or sitting
