We see Apprentices as our managers of the future. They’re a fundamental part of our Store and Logistics structure and once they’ve been trained, they’re incredibly valuable to the business. On our Stores Management programme you’ll be given a competitive salary (starting at £5.52 per hour) and a supportive environment where you can learn from the very best. After the three-year scheme, you’ll have the perfect springboard to a successful career in Retail.

In year one you will learn all about the store and how it works. You will be expected to stack shelves, deal with customers, operate the checkouts and build relationships with your colleagues.

In year two you will start to take on more responsibility as you complete the level 3 qualification. This will involve managing rotas, allocating tasks to colleagues, ordering products as well as all the day to day tasks that will be required in store.

You will be required to work 30 hours per week and this will be made up of different shift patterns including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

You’ll need Maths and English GCSE Grades A to C (or equivalents). Other than that, it’s about your attitude and desire to do well. We choose people who are happy to roll their sleeves up, work with the team and make our business even better. You’ll find yourself in many challenging situations but you’ll have the grit and determination to deal with anything that comes your way.
