Duties will include answering the phones, dealing with customer orders, picking, packing and despatching parts from our warehouse. There will also be opportunities to learn about the product range and to assist with expanding it working with our worldwide network of suppliers.

Operating our computer systems for stock control, order processing and invoicing.

Helping with marketing, including maintenance of our website and Facebook page – posting news items etc – and possible attendance at TVR related events.

Liaising with TVR Manufacturing on information on the new car as required.

Liaising with the TVR dealer network and helping to develop new products in response to customer demand.

Qualifications required

GCSE grades A* - C in English and maths or equivalent.

An understanding of and interest in cars and automotive parts would be a plus. Warehouse skills would be helpful, but not mandatory as these will be taught on the job

Training provider

On the job training working towards BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (combined qualification, knowledge & NVQ) You will be required to attend occasional workshops at Farnborough College of Technology.

Where appropriate, you will need to attend Functional Skills workshops to achieve the required levels of Maths, English and ICT.

Training on dealing with customer orders, including answering the phone and dealing with email orders.

Training on using stock control, parts ordering and invoicing software systems

Learning to pack and despatch goods using post and couriers

Learning about product ranges and pricing
