  • Answering calls and emails – eg. booking on jobs, dealing with enquiries, sending PODs, providing quotes etc.
  • Dealing with exceptions – Failed attempts, Address queries, Misroutes/Delays, etc.
  • Actioning the daily carrier reports.
  • Booking on third party collections and provide a report to Recreation of theirs.
  • Process credit card transactions.
  • Import FMLs daily shipment upload file.
  • Help with the carrier invoices.
  • Dealing with any customer claims.
  • Using Excel.

Training provider

The successful candidate will undergo a full company induction by their mentor/manager.
They will then complete Apprenticeship Training, delivered by Weir Training. This will include a QCF and Technical Certificate in Business Admin at Level 2.

It may also include Functional Skills in Maths, English and IT all at Level 1.
