Duties include:

  • Taking deliveries
  • Checking delivery against delivery notes
  • Moving stock around warehouse location
  • Loading goods for shipments out.
  • Maintaining stock records
  • Taking part in the stock count
  • Safely use machinery, equipment and forklift
  • Communicating with the UK team, other warehouse sites within the group by telephone and email.

Qualifications required

GCSE's grade A-D in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications). If the successful applicant does not have grade D in English and Maths will have to take part in functional skills.

Future prospects

This role has the possibility to become a full-time post upon completing apprenticeship. There is potential for travel at a later date.

Things to consider

From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
