As a Customer Resolution Specialist you will be responsible for dealing with any expressions of dissatisfaction our customers may have. You will have the ability to work with hostile, emotional or difficult customers and employees, acting as the calm voice-of-reason. This role involves interactions with the general public, suppliers and colleagues; therefore the successful candidate must be a good communicator. As the role requires the candidate to deal with complaints and difficult situations, they would ideally have experience in this area. They must also be computer literate and be comfortable using internal IT systems.

The successful candidate must have problem solving skills, be confident in dealing with difficult situations and decision making.  They must have exceptional organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail, a high level of computer skills, the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative and should be able to prioritise their work load efficiently.

Qualifications required

Good basic education.

GCSEs grades A*-C, or equivalent qualifications - to include Maths and English.

Most importantly, the individual will have a great work ethic and be eager to learn.

Due to the nature of the role we like to see candidates to have previous experience working in financial services with a preference to minimum of two years in an administrative role.

National Minimum Wage From 1st April 2017, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Reality Check You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst awaiting for your first wages to be paid.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Advanced NVQ Level, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and the Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Workbook.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
