    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Things to consider

Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours. Candidates must be willing to travel to the EMTEC training centre in Ruddington, Nottingham to complete the block release training.

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. *Please note if the successful applicant is found prior to the closing date the vacancy maybe withdrawn early* * Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week.
