  • To assist in the smooth running of the Kitchen through food preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • You will be trained in Food Preparation and presentation in accordance with the establishments high standards. 
  • You will be trained in stock control.
  • You will take part in daily and weekly deep cleaning the kitchen and equipment.
  • You will be trained in how to develop menus.
  • Comply with food hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • You will be  trained in how to maintain kitchen records.

Things to consider

You will be required to work evenings and weekends. The Long's Arms value their team members and would like to discuss salary at the interview stage as the salary is dependent on age and experience. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. For more information visit:
