Wages explained
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.40 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.55 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £6.95 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Working week

30-40 hours per week. These will involve regular weekend and evening work as these are the play centres busiest periods. Opening hours for the play centre are :- 9.30am – 6.30pm (Mon – Sat) 9.30am – 4.30pm (Sun)

  • To undertake work in a variety of departments and supporting the workforce in any reasonable way when appropriate.
  • To assist both the Trust and its partners in using the power of football and the brand of Chesterfield FC to promote the aims of the Trust.
  • To ensure the Trust’s Customer Care policy is maintained to a high level.
  • To undertake any other administration duties as appropriate.
  • To ensure that standards Hygiene and safety are maintained.

The trust is affiliated to the Football League and received accreditation in 2011.
