Your role will include;

  • Assisting Chef in preparing all foods
  • Assisting Chef in cooking food to the restaurant standard.
  • Presenting food to required standards and ensuring food is severed promptly
  • Accepting deliveries and placing away in stockroom
  • Ensuring stock ordering is kept up to date
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen.
  • Liaising with waiting staff
  • Following relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines

Things to consider

A fast paced environment and the restaurant has a reputation for excellent standards. The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
