You will be enrolled onto a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 course, to learn how to provide a high-quality service to customers within the workplace, digitally, or in-person and everything a customer service role entails. It is a 2-year course depending on experience.

The course providers offer online tutor led sessions, blended learning with both online and face to face sessions and support and require an End Point Assessment to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and behaviours have been learnt.

Accountabilities:

  • To monitor all enquiries that are emailed to the business and follow up to confirm information and distribute to the sales team
  • To Follow up on all leads and pass to sales team
  • To support Telesales team inputting internally validated information into CRM package to generate quote efficiently
  • To generate new business sales within specific industry sectors in line with Group expectations from existing clients and potential new clients, providing first class customer service
  • To support website (Chat) online customer’s instant access
  • To Support Telesales team, answering calls, Quotes, online enquiries
  • To account manage regular long-standing accounts
  • Demonstrate CSG performance behaviours
  • Comply with Group H&S policies and behaviours
  • To work collaboratively with the Marketing, Tendering and Tele sales teams

  • Good IT skills with experience of using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including an ability to effectively deal with telephone and email enquiries

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English.

On completion of the course, there will be a possible opportunity to join the Institute of Customer Service as an individual member at a professional level. You will also be eligible for a salary review.
