Duties Include:

  •  Be a reliable member of a team, working co-operatively and with flexibility
  • To follow the Brightsparks Routine and to adhere to the nursery policies
  • To learn to work within the EYFS Guidelines
  • To develop good communications with parents / guardians, encouraging them to participate in their child’s progress and development and make them feel welcomed at all times
  • To work with enthusiasm and motivation at all times
  • To assist with the supervision of the children and ensure their safety at all times
  • To ensure quality interaction with the children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes
  • Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive nursery environment
  • Attend parent meetings, be involved in fundraising events and assist with the promotion of the nursery
  • Assist with the care, maintenance and security of all equipment and toys within the Nursery and to adhere to the room’s cleaning schedule
