Responsibilities will include:
- Use clear and engaging communication to establish a good rapport with customers and ask relevant questions to determine their needs
- Listen to customers who may wish to just have a chat before ordering
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with the business / brand standards with the aim of exceeding customer expectations
- Check that customers are satisfied with products and services and act on feedback in line with business procedures
- Carefully handle payments, transactions, stock and packaging to minimise unnecessary financial loss
- Clearly communicate relevant and useful information on products and services based on a clear understanding of customers’ needs
- Communicate thoroughly with kitchen team
- Show initiative during quiet periods to carry out prep and ad-hoc tasks
- Support team members to ensure that the products and services delivered are of a high quality, on time and meet customer expectations in line with business needs
- Learn how to assist special need customers – such as people living with dementia during our monthly Memory Cafes
- Learn to work with staff with special needs – such as our team member who is an adult with Down Syndrome and works with us via WorkFit
- Use technology appropriately and efficiently in line with company policy in a way that supports customer service and ensure that faults and maintenance issues are reported promptly

The candidate will follow a Level 2 apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard.
This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West.
If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 1 Functional Skills in the relevant subjects.
Additional online 5 x 1 hr courses to be completed in line with all employees including fire extinguishers and allergen training.
