About the employer

The Bruce Arms, a charming former Coaching Inn respectfully converted into a modern Dining Pub. We have three beautiful bedrooms, a gorgeous Georgian dining room, and a traditional, well stocked bar. Enjoy the fresh air on the terrace in the summer, or get toasty by one of our fireplaces in the winter months.

Whether you’ve got muddy boots on and fancy a pint, or you’ve put on your glad rags for an anniversary dinner, you will get a warm Yorkshire welcome at The Bruce Arms. Only ten minutes from the A1 (junctions 50 and 51) The Bruce Arms is an excellent stopover for travellers heading North or South.

Food And Drink

We don’t believe in ‘buzzwords’ here at The Bruce, you won’t find us talking about ‘making the ingredient the star of the plate’ or ‘an ingredient lead menu’.  We’d like to let our food do the talking for us, less fuss, more flavour.
