Technical Engineering Apprentice JONIC ENGINEERING LIMITED
Our client is looking for a Technical Apprentice to work with and be fully trained by their technical department who design and programme hydraulic components.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Level 3 (A level)
You will be fully involved with the application of the hydraulic cylinder during the design stage using 3D CAD and CAM systems. The systems have full modelling facilities and this is used to directly generate CNC code and drawings for the manufactured parts, as the programmes and drawing are communicated electronically to the shop floor.
Requirements and prospects
- Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Solid Works is advantageous
The ideal candidate will be:
- Natural problem solver with a logical approach
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance history
- Passionate and willingness to learn
- Self motivated and proactive
- Excellent communication skills
- Great hand to eye co-ordination
You must have GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4 or above (Grades A - C).
Candidate has the potential to move forward on to further qualifications with the company once Level 3 has been completed if this is an option.
