About the role                        

At Home Group we design, develop and deliver new homes to the market for sale across the county and the brilliant news is that the profit we make from selling these homes goes back into our business and helps us to support our customers and communities.

Within our sales department we have a number of regional teams that oversee new homes sales and marketing so joining us as a Sales and Customer Service Apprentice you’ll have the chance to work across a wide variety of areas, gaining fantastic breadth of knowledge and practical experience.

You’ll report into one of our experienced Sales Manager and also have a mentor from within the team, someone who does a similar role, who will offer additional guidance and support. We’ll make sure you’ve developed a wide range of skills across the entire sales lifecycle in no time! On completion of the apprenticeship you will be well on your way to becoming a Sales Executive.

Your academic learning will be delivered by one of our expert apprenticeship delivery partners where you will be supported with time to attend all learning and complete your studies. You will be thoroughly supported by an experienced tutor as well as your own team who will make sure you have access to the learning materials and practical experience to make a success of your apprenticeship and achieve your qualification.

We work in a professional business environment and we’re all passionate about our jobs - but that doesn’t stop us maintaining a sense of fun. You’ll work in a great team alongside 3 regional sales managers, who between them have over 45 years’ experience in property sales and lots of knowledge to pass on. In addition, there are 8 sales execs who work as a team and love nothing better than friendly banter between sites.  Even Dave’s imaginary dog gets a mention in the Team What’s App Group.

Who we’re looking for

We need you to meet our entry requirements which is 5 GCSE’s or equivalent grades A-C/9-4 (including English and math’s or you could have a minimum of two years of related experience.

You’re going to really impress us if you’re proactive, professional and eager to gain new skills in a customer service and sales environment. You’ll be a top communicator, persuasive, driven and able to work on your own initiative.   We’re a high tech organisation so we need you to have good IT skills too.
