We are now looking for great communicators, who love working with people, to join our customer service team. The aim of the team is to manage our customer accounts effectively so that means good organisational skills and an attention to detail. As we train you in the role, you’ll be managing queries and using problem solving skills to create good outcomes today and even better outcomes in the future.
Because we deal with people, no two days are the same, but over time, we will fully train you to:
- Liaise with customers and suppliers, as well as other Reconomy departments such as Marketing and Operations.
- Answer phone calls from customers and suppliers regarding orders, enquiries or issues.
- Take payments using Sage and issuing refunds.
- Process customer and supplier queries and orders using emails, phone calls, and our documentation processes.
- Use the live chat function to assist customers.
- Update our customer database
The technology that sits behind these tasks means training will be provided on our systems and processes, including Salesforce, Documation and Sage.
We have great e-learning packages to support our industry specific knowledge through the Supply Chain Sustainability School, so you will learn all about compliance and regulations.
And you’ll not be alone as we always pair up our new employees with an experienced ‘buddy’ for day-to-day support as well as Job Coaches for further training and regular check-ins with your Team Leader.

N.B. For Business Administrator level 3, candidates must already have GCSE 4/C or above in both Maths and English.
Permanent contracts available for the right candidates. Our previously hired apprentice is still with the business has been promoted.
We offered more than 30 promotions across Reconomy in 2021, including positions of leadership, account management and sales.
