The main duty of this position is to enable the smooth and efficient running of the general office and will include, but is not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting clients, potential clients and other visitors
  • Answering telephone enquiries and allocating calls to correct staff members where required
  • Client administration and keeping records and databases up to date
  • Distributing incoming correspondence appropriately within the office, ensuring everything is file and recorded correctly
  • Arranging appointments and diary management
  • Assisting other departments and team members with a variety of administration duties
  • Preparing correspondence and documents as/when required

Things to consider

Part of qualification will require regular College attendance (subject to Covid restrictions). College attendance is currently one full day per month with regular remote training every two weeks to support progression/development. The FOCUS Training Group is based near Marsh Mills, Plymouth.
