Business and Administration Apprentice 

Job Summary: 

The role of the Administrator is to provide a full and comprehensive administrative support service to current staff and potential staff. The apprentice will be required to work as an effective team member in various departments within our company to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration. You will work mainly within HR supporting management and senior management with day to day tasks, recruitment, training and office duties. You will be responsible to H.R. Manger and senior management staff. 

Roles And Responsibilities  

To efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties which may include the following duties: 

  • Data input and extraction, photocopying, filing and typing duties as directed. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely records
  • To answer and deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff, maintaining confidentiality
  • To meet and greet visitors as required
  • To obtain and retrieve records as required
  • To maintain filing systems in line with our Company policies and procedures
  • Collating information for reports
  • Complete all education and training as required
  • To adhere to the local and national Health and Safety regulations and the Company’s Policies and Procedures
  • To be responsible for the use of office equipment and to report any defects with the equipment
  • To be a flexible and supportive member of the team
  • Keeping well organised files and records of business activities
  • Researching data and archived reports
  • Keeping computer data base up to date
  • Interacting with clients/prospective employees either on phone or in person
