An exceptional role for someone seeking a varied and busy opportunity. You will be fully trained to work in a multitude of areas.

Your main responsibility will be to work as part of a small team and ensure the provision of information, bookings, reservations, assist with marketing for the business, maintain company website and answering telephone enquiries. You will be required to maintain high levels of customer services throughout.

Other duties include: meeting and welcoming guests, handling mail, using email, data management, and helping out in others areas of the business such as the shop when required.

Desired skills

A good level of written English is required. An ability to multi task and take and learn new duties is essential. The ability to work in a customer facing environment is also required.

This position would suit someone who enjoys meeting new people. Also would be ideal for someone who is looking for a role that is varied.

Things to consider

Access to personal transport i.e. car would be advantageous. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

About the employer

Wyreside Lakes is a family run business, situated in over 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells in Dolphinholme, Lancashire. On the estate there are 6 fishing lakes - with a superb stocking of coarse and pike and for walkers and those who appreciate nature, the River Wyre meanders through the property alongside the beautiful bluebell laden Fox’s wood. The estate now boasts a recreational centre with bar, restaurant and function room as well as a large camping and caravanning site. Also in the main building there is a small site camping and tackle shop, laundry room and a shower block. The Fisherman's Restaurant serves food every weekend and the function room is the perfect location for any type of event from weddings or birthday celebrations or even to use for training or corporate purposes. All throughout the year there are various events held each week, from Karaoke /discos to themed nights and live entertainment. This is a truly great work environment with a family atmosphere and a focus on supporting each other where ever needed. The owner is always keen to develop the skills of staff and promote progression. Due to the location of the company the public transport is restricted and it would suit a local candidate or a driver.
