    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

We are looking to appoint an Administrator who will be instrumental in helping the Manager of our service enable the delivery of excellent care and support.  The role will be varied and no two days will be the same so you will need to be organised, efficient and willing to help out in whatever is required.


  • Liaising with and providing administrative support to the Franchise Owner and Registered Manager.
  • Providing first class customer service at all times when representing Right at Home.
  • Check, process and record all payments, administer invoices and expenses claims received, code items to agreed budgets, and action payments.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to prepare HR records, formulate job advertisement, draft job offer letter and contracts and complete filling of such HR records.
  • Producing invoices and resolving any subsequent invoice queries.
  • Collate and analyse all client satisfaction data and quality assurance programmes as requested.
  • Deal with enquiries from new and existing customers and signpost or provide information about other RAH services as appropriate.
  • Assisting with updating of records of clients and Caregivers.
  • General Administrative tasks as required including general maintenance of the office environment.
  • Drafting and sending professional correspondence via post, email and fax.

Training provider

Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required. You will be working towards the Business Administration Level 2 apprenticeship. An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/support you through you course. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.
