Duties to include:

  • Providing office support including customer and employee support
  •  Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
  •  Photocopying, binding, scanning, mailing and filing
  • Dealing with post and making sure it is given to the appropriate individuals
  • To undertake reception duties when required, including answering telephone enquiries making appointments and liaising with other staff and managers, as appropriate
  • Keeping computer databases up to date
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person 
  • Greeting Clients into the office and letting departments know they have arrived
  •  Preparing documents by printing, copying, and binding Writing and editing company correspondence
  •  Collecting and sorting post
  •  Ordering office stationery and other supplies
  •  Communicate as required with your assessor/trainer and complete all training/assessment requirements in accordance with the apprenticeship framework
  •  Any other duties with the post as requested

The duration of the Customer Service Practitioner is usuall 12 months, with an additional, up to 3 months to complete the end poin assessment.

Full training will be provided by the company and supported by the OTC Tutor/Assessor.

Functional Skills Level 2, in English and maths, will form part of the apprenticeship if the required grade in GCSE has not already been achieved.
